Can I Pay for a SSAS with Funds in the SSAS?

Yes, you can pay for the ongoing running of the SSAS from the funds held within the SSAS bank account.

However, we do suggest to all of our clients that the Limited Company that sets up the SSAS  pays the fee because SSAS is a pension scheme of the Company. The fees paid by the Company should be a Corporation Tax deductible expense. That means you have more money in your SSAS for growth in investments, which makes more sense and could increase your retirement savings.
