SSAS Pension Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SSAS Pension Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a contractor position, offering a retainer of £2,000 per month, with additional commissions and bonuses. The role is 100% remote and will report directly to the CEO.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in pensions or SSAS, and a proven track record in business development. They will focus on cultivating a network of introducers, engaging professionals such as Accountants, IFAs, Wealth Managers, Tax Advisors, and Commercial Property Lawyers to showcase the benefits of SSAS for their clients.

This role also involves writing articles, creating connections via various outreach methods, and securing exciting investment opportunities to expand our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Introducer Network Development:
    • Create, cultivate, and manage a network of introducers, including Accountants, IFAs, Wealth Managers, Tax Advisors, and Commercial Property Lawyers.
    • Present and explain the benefits of SSAS for their clients and secure signed introducer agreements.
    • Support signed introducers to ensure they start introducing clients effectively.
  2. Client Engagement:
    • Build strong professional relationships using email, LinkedIn, prospecting, and calls to create connections.
    • Offer guidance and resources to introducers, ensuring their understanding and promotion of SSAS.
  3. Investment Acquisition:
    • Research and onboard new and exciting investments to expand SSAS opportunities.
    • Maintain a broad understanding of investment options to align them with SSAS client needs.
  4. Content Creation:
    • Write informative articles for Accountants, IFAs, and other professionals on SSAS-related topics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Link articles to the company website and collaborate with the team to boost online presence.
  5. Administrative and Reporting:
    • Utilise tools like HubSpot (preferred but not essential) for tracking and managing relationships.
    • Maintain exceptional organization to manage tasks, deadlines, and client interactions.
    • Report directly to the CEO, providing updates on progress and achievements.
  6. Additional Duties:
    • Occasionally participate in the filming of informational videos to promote SSAS-related topics.
    • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends to maintain relevance and credibility.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, preferably in pensions or SSAS.
  • Strong track record of building and managing professional networks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy, hardworking, and a team player.
  • Proficient in using email, LinkedIn, and calls for outreach and prospecting.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in SSAS or pensions.
  • Broader understanding of investments.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
